Wow.

So it's been like almost 3 months since I've written on here!

My birthday was fun on January 3rd.... I got to go to the beach, souvenir shopping, and then to a mexican restaurant. 

On the 6th I went sailing with the Allders on their catamaran... it was GREAT! 

Just before I left I went to downtown Brisbane and got to bowl and chill.

I flew back to Cali on the 19th and Bobby and I had a fun time for a few days walking to the beach and site seeing and checkin' out L.A.'s fabulous bus service.

I'm a manager again at Targhetto.

I finally moved into my own apartment again.... oh how I've missed that!  I've been homeless for a year and a half!  It's great.  I like it.

Mom and Dad have brought me a few loads of my stuff.  I think there's just one more load at their house.

Bobby and I went to the Great Lakes Science Center two Saturdays ago.  That was fun.  I'd never been there.  It was freezing with the wind coming off Lake Erie.  I thought we were going to freeze.  I was like running in place down the street because the wind was holding me back!

His family is doing good.  He was down in North Carolina for a week and they had me spend the night every night but one so we could chill.  ha ha. 

We have a big visit on Friday.  Our areas have to be green.  We've had no staffing recently due to payroll....bleh... it's been rough.

Greg bought me this cool shirt that has bobsledders in a shopping cart and said have you been bobshopping at Targhetto recently?  Ha ha ha. 

Our five month anniversary was Sunday.

Anyway, that's all!  Life is great.  Bobby is amazing!  Make it a super fantastic day!

Soooo.... Friday James and I went to downtown Brizzy!  We ate at the Gandhi Curry House on South Bank.  Very yummy.  We had butter chicken.  It's in the curry sauce or whatever and then you put it on top of the rice.  Then we walked over to downtown Brisvegas and finally over to Dreamy Donuts, which is apparently the best donuts in Brisbane.  We bought twelve different flavors.. .and I don't have the list with me so I'll add that later and then walked over to the foot bridge by the Uni and looked at the skyline of the city while we ate the donuts.  Then we went up to Mount Coo'tha so I could take pictures of the skyline from up there and I had an Iced Mocha.  Good stuff!  It was fun.  Finally got to do some exciting stuff!!  ha ha.

Saturday Philip and his wife Dianne and two girls Laura and Sarah took me up to the Sunshine Coast.  We went to Mooloolaba.  It was a perfect day for the beach.  The tide was just starting to come in when we got there, the wind was coming from the right direction, the temp in and out of the water was fantastic, and we found a good spot to park ourselves.  I tanned for about 2 hours, had a cherry slushie type thing that Philip brought me (I don't like eating heavy stuff on the beach in the sun.. it makes me feel yucky) and then we went out in the water for over an hour... it was fantastic!  It felt like bath water!  And because the tide was coming in... we went way way out in the ocean and just floated around cuz the current would just bring us back into the breakers.    And you don't have to worry about sharks because there are shark nets.    Further North there are also stinger nets but not down here.  Later on while they packed the vehicle I walked along the shops to see if I could find any souvenirs but didn't find any I liked.  Then we sat down and had a snack at a cafe.  I got a chocolate strawberry shake.. wasn't as good as the one in Raglan, NZ but I was still pleased with it!

Sunday I went to church and then tanned and got ready to go to downtown Brizzy with Dorothy for New Year's Eve.  She said we were going with Joseph and his friend but we actually went with Unga.  They picked us up at about 4:10.  Dorothy told me they were picking us up at 5.  Then at 2:50 she was like they're coming at 3... I still hadn't taken a shower... I was like you said 5... she was like they changed their minds...so I was a bit stressed.  Then they drove us all the way back to their house which is on the opposite side of the city... takes over a 1/2 hour for sure so they could get ready... then we took two cars downtown...because they have 8 kids... one of them wasn't even wearing their shoes... but they didn't realize that til we were already to South Bank!  They found a spot in the sand to put their blankets down.

PS- TOMORROW IS MY BIRTDHAY!  JANUARY 3rd!
